PTH-I K3-EDTA - -
ACTH K3-EDTA precooled tube in icy water, the sample should reach the division as soon as possible, otherwise the sample should be centrifuged at 3500 rpm at 4 oC for 20 minutes, the plastic tube in which the plasma is collected should be refrigerated at -20 oC until it is sent to the laboratory, be cautious not to defreeze the sample. Timing of sample collection sampling at 8 hours and/or 2 hours Timing of blood sampling: at 8 hours and/or 24 hours
Cortisol natíve blood   Timing of blood sampling: at 8 hours and/or 24 hours

urine
- only 4-5 ml of urine need be sent from a urine collection of 24 hours stored at 4° C, the volume of the 24 hour urine collection is necessary
PRA (Angiotensin1) K3-EDTA Sample to be collected in a precooled tube and should be sent to the division within 30 minutes Timing of blood sampling:
supine: collected in the morning before getting up from bed. sitting: collected after spending 2 hours in a sitting position
Aldosterone natíve blood**
urine
-

Timing of blood sampling:
supine: collected in the morning before getting up from bed. sitting: collected after spending 2 hours in a sitting position. Remarks for urine collection: only 4-5 ml of urine need be sent from a urine collection of 24 hours stored at 4° C, the volume of the 24 hour urine collection is necessary

# Hemolysed and hyperlipemic samples cannot be processed. It is preferred that the samples reach the division within 30 minutes of sampling, so that the sample may be centrifuged immediately after clot formation. If these guidelines are not adhered to, the measured hormone values may be over- or under-estimated

* can be measured from the EDTA tube sent for ACTH analysis.
** can be measured from the EDTA tube sent for PRA analysis.
